Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the Health Bridge iOS app, local bridge, CLI, MCP server, and related documentation or tooling provided by Tab0 Inc.

1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Tab0 Inc. ("Tab0," "we," "us," or "our") governing your use of Health Bridge, including the iOS app, local bridge, CLI, MCP server, documentation, and related tooling (collectively, the "Service").

By downloading, installing, pairing with, or using Health Bridge, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

Health Bridge is a local-first technical tool for accessing Apple Health data that you approve through HealthKit. The Service may include:

  • An iOS app that requests HealthKit permissions and runs a local bridge while active.
  • Bonjour/local network discovery so devices you control can find the iPhone on the same network.
  • A pairing token used to authenticate local bridge requests.
  • CLI, MCP-compatible, API, query, and export workflows for approved data.
  • Optional Decis sync for sending approved Health and Fitness samples to a Decis endpoint you configure.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

3. Health and Medical Disclaimer

Health Bridge is not a medical device. The Service is provided for personal data access, export, research, developer, quantified-self, and general wellness workflows. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent any disease or medical condition.

  • The Service does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency monitoring.
  • Information accessed through the Service should not replace advice from qualified healthcare professionals.
  • You are responsible for how you interpret, analyze, automate, or act on data received through Health Bridge.
  • If you have a medical concern, consult a qualified healthcare provider. In an emergency, call your local emergency number immediately.

4. Eligibility and Responsible Use

To use the Service, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction.
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
  • Use the Service only with devices, networks, accounts, and data that you own or are authorized to access.
  • Comply with all applicable laws, Apple terms, third-party service terms, and data protection obligations.

5. Apple HealthKit Integration

If you grant HealthKit permissions, you authorize Health Bridge to access the HealthKit data types you approve. You can change or revoke HealthKit access at any time through Apple Health or iOS Settings.

Health Bridge uses HealthKit data only to provide the functionality you request. We do not use HealthKit data for advertising, marketing, tracking, or sale to third parties.

6. Local Bridge, Pairing Token, and Exports

Health Bridge is intended for use with local tools you control. You are responsible for securing your iPhone, local network, paired clients, scripts, exported files, MCP sessions, and pairing token.

  • Keep the pairing token private and share it only with devices or tools you control.
  • Regenerate the pairing token if you believe it may have been exposed.
  • Review scripts, automations, and agents before giving them access to Health Bridge.
  • You are responsible for any data you export, copy, store, analyze, or send to other services.

7. Optional Decis Sync and Third-Party Services

If you configure Decis sync, you authorize Health Bridge to send approved Health and Fitness samples to the Decis ingest endpoint and account you configure. Your use of Decis or any other third-party service is subject to that service's terms and policies.

We are not responsible for third-party services, their availability, their data handling practices, or how they process data you choose to send.

8. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or unauthorized purposes.
  • Access, export, or sync another person's health data without proper authorization.
  • Attempt to bypass HealthKit permissions, pairing-token protections, or local network controls.
  • Interfere with, disrupt, reverse engineer, decompile, or misuse the Service except as allowed by applicable law.
  • Use the Service to build systems that provide medical diagnosis, treatment, emergency alerts, or safety-critical decisions without appropriate professional, regulatory, and technical safeguards.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including the app, interfaces, documentation, designs, trademarks, and related materials, is owned by Tab0 or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service except as expressly permitted by us or by applicable open-source licenses.

10. Privacy

Our handling of information is described in the Health Bridge Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have reviewed that policy.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, AND FITNESS FOR MEDICAL, SAFETY-CRITICAL, OR REGULATED USE.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, compatible with all devices or networks, or that results obtained through the Service will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your purposes.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TAB0 INC. AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND LICENSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR HEALTH-RELATED HARMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE SIX MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100).

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Tab0 Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your scripts or automations, your exports or downstream processing, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of another person's rights.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms or used the Service in a way that creates risk for us, other users, or third parties. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, and dispute provisions.

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction require otherwise.

For users residing in the Republic of Korea, mandatory Korean consumer protection and privacy laws will apply to the extent required by law.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update this page and may provide additional notice where appropriate. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of updated Terms means you accept the updated Terms.
